The Price of Fame is it really worth it?

The latest celeb to jump on the app game trend is LiLo with Lindsay Lohan’s The Price of Fame.

Before you start the Kim K comparisons this game is waaaay different.

The aim of this game is to gain fans. Yep and it’s ever so simple.

All you do is swipe up. The more you swipe the more fans you accumulate.

Fans also double up as currency that you can spend on Publicity Investments (which include things such as Start Twitter Fued, Hire Publicist, Release Sex Tape); Conspicuous Consumption (which includes things such as Raw Food Diet, Trophy Spouse, Designer Baby) and Your Entourage. These in turn help you to increase the amount of fans that you can gain.

Lol so basically it’s like a circle, you gain fans, use fan points to buy things that can help you get more points.

It becomes so addictive, because your forever wanting to gain more fans, to unlock more perks, to unlock more fans, to unlock more perks, to unlock more fans… You get the point.

This game will really appeal to those that are fans of browser type games such as Cookie Clicker (which I myself got addicted to).

Though I really enjoyed playing; my only issue that after a while it tended to get a bit too repetitive and I feel that it has the tendency to become quite tiresome, so here’s hoping that more content is added to up the stakes.
